Mark Humphrey is Director of Technical Training and Development for Hearth and HVAC products at MH Services CO LLC, with over 30 years of experience across hearth, chimney, gas, and HVAC systems. Starting as a chimney sweep, he built expertise in wood, pellet, and gas appliances before expanding into HVAC, and has owned and operated wholesale, retail, and installation businesses throughout his career. After leading certification and training development at the National Fireplace Institute (NFI), he acquired an established hands-on training platform to address a critical gap in technician education. At MH Services, he aligns technical training directly with real-world applications and evolving industry challenges. Mark holds credentials including Licensed Master Mechanical and Master Pipefitting Contractor, NFI Master Hearth Professional (MHP) and Instructor, CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep, F.I.R.E. Certified Inspector, and multiple ACCA HVAC and EPA certifications.
